Your Excellency,

We are shocked to hear about the sentencing of the human rights advocates Paul Le Cong Dinh, Tran Huynh Duy Thuc, Le Than Long and Nguyen Tien Trung to long imprisonment on January 20, 2010 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Christian Solidarity International (CSI) condemns the verdict against these four men for their commitment to human rights and religious liberty as guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations.

As a matter of urgency, we ask you to see to it that these four human rights advocates are released and that human rights are ensured.

Megdöbbenéssel vettük tudomásul, hogy 2010. január 20-án Ho Si MInh városban súlyos börtönbüntetésre ítélték Paul Le Cong Dinh, Tran Huynh Duy Thuc, Le Than Long és Nguyen Tien Trung emberi jogi aktivistákat.

A CSI helyteleníti bűnössé nyilvánításukat, mivel ők csak az ENSZ Emberi Jogok Egyetemes Nyilatkozatában foglaltaknak megfelelően követelik az emberi jogok és a vallásszabadság biztosítását.

Kérjük, sürgősen gondoskodjon a négy elítélt szabadon bocsátásáról, és az emberi jogok biztosításáról Vietnamban.
